Before commencing your IPMAT preparation, verify that you meet the age limits, qualifying board percentages, and category criteria specified by IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak, and the National Testing Agency (NTA).

No. Mathematics is NOT mandatory in Class 12 for IPMAT Indore, IPMAT Rohtak, or JIPMAT. Students from Science (PCB/PCM), Commerce with or without Maths, and Arts/Humanities are fully eligible to apply and compete.
Yes! Students appearing for their Class 12 board examinations in 2026 can apply for IPMAT 2026 on a provisional basis, provided they submit proof of passing with the required minimum aggregate marks at the time of final admission.
The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in 10th and 12th standards is calculated based on the aggregate marks of all subjects that appear in the mark sheet or grade sheet, regardless of the board regulations.
